I'm a wife, a mom, a middle-child, and a photographer. I've been in photography for over 20 years, and I've photographed everything! For a long time I concentrated my photography on families and landscape, but really found my passion when I found Boudoir Photography.
As a woman and busy mom struggling with weight issues, I needed to find something to make me feel good in the body I'm in. I had heard of Boudoir Photography before but because I didn't like my body as it was I was afraid to have a session. I came across a photographer who was advertising her Boudoir Photography as a way of accepting and celebrating the body you're in. I contacted her immediately for a session. I just knew she would be able to help me accept my new body and find a way to feel like myself again.
This was when I decided I needed to do this for other women. I know most women find themselves at a point in their lives where they feel like they've lost themselves. I decided I needed to help as many women as I could through my photography. I changed my focus to Boudoir Photography and threw myself in as far as I could go. I studied everything I could get my hands on, and I attended as many seminars as I could find. I've studied with some of the top boudoir photographers in the country, and I've built my business with my focus on helping as many women as I can. Boudoir has been my main focus in my photography for a few years now, and I graduated as a Certified Professional Boudoir Photographer in August 2018.
My mission is to empower as many women as I can through my photography. I help my clients reclaim their beauty, and celebrate wherever they are in life. For every paid Session, I donate to a local organization called Women's Advocates. This organization helps women and children leave a life of abuse and get back on their feet by providing shelter, therapy and education.
Thanks for stopping by and reading about me!
